OUR SERVICES

Our therapists work with children from 2-18 years old. We can provide formal and informal Speech Pathology assessments for the areas of:

  • Receptive language

  • Expressive language

  • Articulation (speech sounds)

  • Social skills/pragmatic language

  • Literacy (reading, writing, spelling)

  • Autism diagnostic assessments (ADOS-2, ADI-R)

These assessments will then guide the need for intervention and ongoing therapy services, as we create goals with a client focused and evidence based approach to target in therapy.

Assessments can also be completed for funding or school application purposes.

Our therapists can provide ongoing, individual therapy services, following an initial assessment session.

Therapy sessions can be 35 or 45 minutes, plus additional notes and administration time, on a weekly or fortnightly basis. This will be determined in your first initial assessment.

Therapy can target a wide variety of areas:

  • Receptive language

  • Expressive language

  • Articulation (speech sounds)

  • Social skills/pragmatic language

  • Literacy (reading, writing, spelling)

GROUP THERAPY SERVICES

We also offer social skills groups that run during school terms and also, during the school holidays.

Our next holiday groups are in January 2024.

These groups specifically target social skills in a small group environment with up to five children and two Speech Pathologists.

Keep an eye out for our group program flyers that will be offered throughout the year, or contact the clinic to be added to the expression of interest waitlist.

TELEHEALTH

After working throughout all of COVID-19 and lockdowns in 2020-2021, we learnt how to adapt our services to successfully continue via Telehealth with various clients of all ages. It has completely changed the way we work as Speech Pathologists, and enables our clients to continue to work on their goals with greater flexibility. Telehealth is also the best way to ensure safety from illness for all our therapists, clients and families.

Following your first face to face assessment, Telehealth is always an ongoing option for therapy.

Please speak to your therapist in your first assessment session about your preferences.
